Whether you've chosen an online program, or individual online classes to add flexibility to your schedule, USU has prepared online resources to help you succeed.  We encourage you to follow the steps below and to explore the available student resources so you are prepared for a successful learning experience.

Getting Started

After you have registered for an online class, follow the steps below to make sure that you're set up and ready to go.

1. Find your A-Number and create a USU Password
2. Access your online course through USU Canvas using your A-Number and USU Password.
3. View your course announcements and syllabus.
4. We recommend students download a Canvas mobile app for iOS or Android to receive notification and participate in courses.
5. Review Student Tips for Using Zoom to view live and recorded lectures.
6. Review information about online proctoring for final exams if needed.

To be successful learning online, it is important to login often to complete coursework. Engage with your classmates, and communicate regularly with your instructor. View additional online study tips to make the most of your online course experience.
